Kufri is one of the small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh in India. Kufri is located 20 Kilometer from Shimla. Kufri name is taken from word kufr, the meaning of kufr is “lake” in local language. Kufri is one of the popular tourist place in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. For trekking and hiking Kufri is good place. Kufri is also famous for its nature park and picnic spot. Kufri is best for adventurous travelling, where you can see the lovely snowfall. 

During the snowfall Kufri is one of the major attraction for tourist. There are many hotels in Shimla and Kufri where, you can stay. 

The best time to visit in Kufri for snowfall is during the winter months between December to February. During these months (December to February) the little hill station is covered with snow.

There are many Travel Agency where you can book your travel packages and enjoy the travel experience. If you want to reach Shimla then you can travel with cab, flight and Train. If you want to travel with cab then you can choose any Travel agency's packages (it depends upon you). If you want to travel with bus then you can book the bus from Delhi to Shimla OR Chandigarh to Shimla  and after that you can buy local cab(Taxi) in Shimla. Its better if you only book Volvo bus for Travelling. 

If you want to travel with Train then you have to visit kalka railway station for visit Shimla tour. During Kalka to Shimla you can see scenic mountains and enjoy your journey. After that you can book the local cab (Taxi) for local tour or you can visit to Kufri.
